We designed safe gas installations for regions with seismic activity, which were tested in cooperation with the Poznań University of Technology and the Indonesia Gas Company – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN).
The seismic-proof components have been introduced for the protection of residential and industrial gas installations against serious damage caused by earthquakes, by absorbing the incoming seismic energy. This is done by placing flexible compensating pipes or joints between the fixed elements of installations that are most susceptible to damage.
The implementation of the solution was possible thanks to co-financing under the Smart Growth Operational Program, from sub-measure 3.2.1. Research for the market co-financed from European Funds.
